	OUR MISSION The Kentucky Gourd Society is an association of people interested in growing and/or crafting gourds. It was organized in 1995 as the IOTA chapter of the American Gourd Society. The purpose of the society is to encourage the growing of gourds, to promote the use of gourds and to provide other information about gourds. The Annual Gourd Art Show in May, features an exhibition competition of dried and crafted gourds, crafting supplies and books, and gourd crafting workshops and classes. There are also January and November classes offered.
